This is pretty much the best marriage proposal ever.. and probably the only way I’d ever say yes to someone.

Pretty much a completely accurate video representation of my life.

Except I’m actually ridiculously good at math.

This is the greatest thing I have ever seen.

EVER.

This is the greatest thing I have ever seen.

EVER.

I love this music video for Dollhouse.

Though I’m a little ashamed I didn’t know it existed until now. #whedonfanfail

In other news, I’m in the process of trying to be productive. Which is really just saying: hey I just realized I have a bunch of stuff due soon and like, fifty tests coming up, I should probably jump on that. Procrastination is my middle name.

I’ll be your Star Trek Girl. ;)

my life is bursting with life.

So, I made a post about my epic life of epicness. Really, I just found my old xanga and reading over the last few entries, I kind of realized, hey, my life is awesome. And so I made a nauseating enthusiastic update about it. Ch-ch-ch-check it out, if you’d like!

In honor of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1) coming out this weekend, here’s a video of Daniel Radcliff giving props to one of my favorite comedy singers, Tom Lehrer.

Pretty sure this is how my cat is going to react when I move to Minnesota. Poor little Texas kitty doesn’t know what he’s in for.

Just sayin.

Just sayin.

Doctor Who?

So I’m more than a little ashamed that I have never watched this show until now. I’d heard of it, sure (difficult not to with @thatneilguy and @pyroblackcat always raving about it). But I never really showed any interest in it until, on a whim, I queued it up on Netflix. And now? I’m hooked.

The show is pretty fantastic with its various single episode plotlines. It does a fantastic job of pulling up folklore in history and twisting it into grander schemes that you would never imagine. And as cheesy as some of the lines are at times, its  good for more than a few smiles. But I think the biggest hook for me is how theme oriented they are! So far, my favorite episode is from Season 3: Gridlock (2007). Maybe its just the Art Historian in me, but I love how all the different cars were refrences to various famous paintings!

This isn’t the only episode to do this theming either, serveral of them pick out key issues and (subtly) explore them without directly discussing them. I feel it gives the whole series an extra POP factor which makes it more enjoyable. Its even become a sort of game between my roommate and I, “Who can figure out the hidden theme first”! Or really, I just play and pretend she’s playing with me.. it would explain the weird looks she gives me when I suddenly shout out what the theme is.

And how come no one ever told me just how ADORABLE David Tennant is? I would have jumped on this fangirl wagon long ago if I had known. I mean, come on. Who wouldn’t fall for this cutie? The ruffled hair? Those glasses? His cocky smile? Umf.

Doctor, you can use that sonic screwdriver on me anyday.
